Welcome to Surreal Entertainment!
About the founder...
Forgoing his dream of pursuing an acting career and the desire to be a rock star, Enrique Montero settled on the next best thing—partying like one. The career path paid off. Choosing his hometown of San Francisco as his playground, Montero quickly became one of the hottest promoters this side of the Mississippi. Sure L.A. and Las Vegas have the bright lights and the A-list names, but Montero capitalized on a market that has something more tangible—diversity. And in 2000, the year that he launched Surreal SF Entertainment, a house-electronic music scene was captivating the masses, but the lifestyle was confined to underground, dim-lit warehouse parties. Montero attack, bringing an element of glam and fun to a scene that didn't know what VIP meant.
Flash forward, Enrique Montero and his partners have thrown some of the most memorable parties in some of San Francisco's most prestigious venues. From Bling Bling themed parties back in the day, to Pussycat Lounge Thursdays, Treasure Island, the Fillmore, the Cow Palace to 1015 Folsom, Bimbo’s, DNA lounge, Kelly’s Mission Rock, Hotel Ibiza, Gold Club, Ruby Skye, Fluid, Infusion, Temple, Supperclub, Roe and co-creator of the infamous Club Crash w/ Tommy Lee, it's safe to say Montero has helped pioneer the club spirit of SF. Naturally, other cities took notice, and Montero brought the same energy and passion to the table producing and hosting events in Miami's South Beach during the spring break WMC and an NYE porn star party on the Vegas strip. He has also co-produced the world's wildest & sexiest party voted by E!... Perry Mann's EXOTIC EROTIC BALL.
To date, Montero has worked with stars like Good Charlotte, Plain White T’s, Everclear, Peaches, Snoop Dogg, George Clinton, Naughty by Nature, Digital Underground, Too Live Crew, the Pharcyde, Mickey Avalon, Dirt Nasty, Scissors for Lefty, Shifty from Crazytown, Zion I, Tone Loc, Bubba Sparxx, DJ’s Sharam from Deep Dish, Sandra Collins, Richard Vission, Kaskade, Mark Farina, Miguel Migs, DJ Aero (Methods of Mayhem), Donald Gluade, Keoki, plus porn star legends Ron Jeremy & Tera Patrick, Fashion Runway Events with Christian Audigier and Ed Hardy Stores, Rockstars Tommy Lee (Motley Crue) & Gilby Clarke (Guns N Roses), and Maxim Magazine.
